We are saddened to report that Celebrity Extra Columnist Eugenia Wright Hall aka The Kleopatra Girl, passed away at 8:40pm last night, Thursday 31^st March from complications due to pneumonia.

Eugenia was not just any publicist, actress or journalist; she was a dear friend and a beautiful individual, inside and out.

Eugenia, we love you and miss you.

Ricky Del Rosario was born & raised in Seaside, CA. He grew up in a large family living in a small house with dozens of relatives sharing quarters all at one time.

With such congestion, life was cramped to say the least. Ricky states, “Our living situation and outside life was a comedy writer’s dream. Without a bed or room of my own, nights were spent in the house, while days were spent hanging outside in the neighborhood with a colorful cast of characters. I didn’t need to watch Richard Pryor or Eddie Murphy videos to get my inspiration for comedy; I had my own family and neighborhood in which to draw upon.”

As a young man, Ricky fell in love with making people around him laugh, so much so that he was voted “Class Clown” in both junior high and high school.

In his first year of college at Sonoma State University, Ricky decided to try an open mike night at a local comedy club. From then, he was hooked, and continued honing his comedic skills by performing frequently around the Bay Area. Read the rest of this entry »

As last year’s recipient of the “Comedienne of the Year” Award 2009, Luenell is still the reigning queen. It is only natural that she was the first choice to host Fillmore Slim’s birthday party this year. Historically, her association with Fillmore Slim began when she hosted his birthday party 10 years ago at Sweet Jimmie’s in Oakland. Fast forward to 2010 and Luenell is as gangsta as ever! She is upin’ the game each year. One can bet that she will be dripped in diamonds and sporting her new hair color…Marilyn Monroe platinum.

Actress Kate Bosworth has co-created a new website that helps gem lovers score designer jewelery on the cheap.

JewelMint.com is a clever new site set up by Kate and her stylist pal Cher Coulter, which offers major discounts on rings, ear-rings and bracelets for a $30 membership fee.

Each month members of the online club will receive an exclusively designed piece that would normally retail at over $100 for free.

Model, actress and singer Donna Rowe who possesses stunning exotic features due to her mix heritage (Anglo/Filipino/Italian) will be among the illustrious guests at the upcoming “Noy “film premier to take place at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, on November 5th.

She may be a mother-of-four, but Madonna isn’t ready to hang up her edgy clothing just yet.

The singer wore a daring pair of over-the-knee PVC boots to present an award at the Fashion Delivers Gala in New York yesterday.

Madonna was attending the fifth annual gala for Fashion Delivers, a charitable foundation through which manufacturers can donate clothing to disaster victims.

Since it was set up the foundation has distributed more than $55 million of clothing to needy recipients, including the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

The Diva recently became involved in the fashion industry, launching a clothing line with her teenage daughter Lourdes called Material Girl which is sold exclusively at Macy’s.

She is also diversifying into other business ventures, including launching a worldwide gym chain called Hard Candy Fitness.

A statement from Hard Candy Fitness said it plans to ‘open in major cities around the world,’ including Russia, Brazil, Argentina, Europe and Asia.
